Consumers have been challenging Premier Nutrition’s claims that Joint Juice ingredients can have beneficial effects on joint health.
According to claims made by some consumers about Joint Juice ingredients, the product marketing contains claims that the item will provide consumers with big health benefits. Purchasers say these marketing claims are the leading reason why a consumer would buy the products to begin with, yet they’re allegedly false and misleading in a way that harms consumers.
Joint Juice is a line of dietary supplements that allegedly help consumers suffering from joint problems. Premier Nutriction, the maker of these products, allegedly markets these products as beneficial for multiple purposes such as lubricating joints, nourishing cartilage, and improving the joint comfort for the user.
Glucosamine is one of the Joint Juice ingredients that supposedly provides benefits for joint health. The Joint Juice ingredients list across numerous products made and marketed by Premier Nutrition includes glucosamine hydrochloride, a supplement many believe to be helpful for health issues.
Some consumers say that they relied entirely on Premier Nutrition’s marketing claims about Joint Juice ingredients when they decided to purchase these products. Some who are frustrated with the allegedly false claims say that the company has done them harm and that these same consumers would never have purchased the product in the first place if they knew the truth.
The advertising for Joint Juice contains misleading information about the formulation of glucosamine inside, purchsers claim. The Joint Juice ingredients list includes both chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine hydrochloride as active ingredients.
According to complaints related to the Joint Juice ingredients list, the marketing claims on these products say that a user can get a full day’s worth of glucosamine to help with joint problems by using that company’s product once per day.
But some lawsuits against the makers of the Joint Juice products point out that some studies have not found any significant benefit linked to glucosamine or chondroitin supplements. The plaintiffs argue that consumers are being led to mistakenly believe that they are getting major health benefits from purchasing and using these items.
However, some consumers say they experienced no benefit to using these products and that the misleading information put forth by the makers is causing harm to them and others. Legal action over similar advertising for other glucosamine supplements has allowed purchasers to recoup some or all of the price they paid for these supplements.
False and misleading advertising laws in place to curb company behavior that makes claims about the product, especially if those claims have to do with alleged health benefits. A variety of different regulations have enhanced the protections that consumers get and govern what companies can and cannot do with marketing, but many continue to claim that companies like the makers of Joint Juice are getting away with misleading advertising.
