Gooder Foods recall reports allergic reactions

The Goodles recall was initiated following consumer feedback, which revealed the presence of undeclared allergens.

Gooder Foods has reported six allergic reactions related to the Here Comes Truffle product and two related to the Vegan is Believin’ product. “Anyone concerned about an allergic reaction should contact a healthcare provider,” the recall notice advises.

The company has taken steps to notify distributors, retailers and consumers who may have received the affected lots.

To address the issue, Gooder Foods is offering refunds to consumers who return the recalled products to the place of purchase. The company has also set up a customer service line available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST at 1-888-610-2341 for further assistance or consumers can email the company at [email protected]

Gooder Foods says it has received reports of eight allergic reactions related to the recall so far. The company is not currently facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes lead to class action lawsuits.

In other recent food recalls, Middlefield Original Cheese Co-Op recalled various cheese products across multiple states due to the risk of listeria monocytogenes contamination.
