Feel Good Foods recall overview: 

  • Who: Feel Good Foods has issued a recall for more than 4,200 cases of its Three Cheese Mac & Cheese Bites.
  • Why: The company initiated the recall due to the possible presence of small pieces of metal in the frozen snacks.
  • Where: The Feel Good Foods recall is active in the United States.

Feel Good Foods has issued a recall for more than 4,200 cases of its Three Cheese Mac & Cheese Bites after metal pieces were found in the frozen snacks.

The recall was initiated and published to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) website on Feb. 5. It applies to 8-ounce packages of Feel Good Foods’ Three Cheese Mac & Cheese Bites with UPC 8-99039-00280-8 and best by dates of June 19, 2026 and June 20, 2026. 

According to the FDA, 4,246 cases have been affected, with nine units in each case. 

The recalled Feel Good Foods mac and cheese bites were sold at retailers nationwide, such as Target and Wegmans, and also online at stores like Amazon Fresh, Instacart and Thrive Market.

FDA classifies Feel Good Foods mac and cheese bites recall

The FDA assigned the recall with a Class II risk level, which means the product “may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”

Feel Good Foods is not currently facing legal action due to the recall. However, Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they can sometimes result in lawsuits.

Consumers who purchased Feel Good Foods Three Cheese Mac & Cheese Bites that fit the recall description should not consume them. Customers can return the packages to the store of purchase for a refund. 

In December 2024, Riverside Natural Foods Inc. issued a recall as some of its popular MadeGood granola bars may contain pieces of metal.
