Rawlings Power Balance class action settlementConsumers who purchased Power Balance products have been given more time to participate in a class action settlement over allegations that Rawlings Sporting Goods Company made false and misleading advertising and marketing claims about these products.

If you purchased a Power Balance bracelet, necklace, batting glove, catchers’ equipment or other Power Balance product between March 1, 2010 and Oct. 11, 2013, you have until March 17, 2014 to file a claim to receive a cash refund from the class action settlement.

The Rawlings Power Balance settlement was preliminarily approved in October 2013, and Class Members originally had until Jan. 8, 2014 to file a claim. However, the Final Fairness Hearing was pushed back to April 7, 2014, giving Class Members more time to file a claim.

To receive a refund from the Rawlings Power Balance class action settlement, you must file an online registration form by March 17, 2014. Class Members who have registered their claim will receive notification if the class action settlement becomes final, at which point they will be able to return their Power Balance Bracelet or submit proof of purchase for a non-bracelet product to receive a refund.

Detailed claim filing instructions can be found here in our Open Class Action Settlements section.
