Did you buy into the promise of cheap travel and million-dollar commission payouts by joining YTB.com (YourTravelBiz.com)? Unfortunately, you may have bought into one of the largest frauds in Illinois history, says a class action lawsuit.According to the class action lawsuit documents, YTB.com has “taken over half a billion dollars from their unsophisticated customers” in a massive pyramid scheme that promised big commissions and cheap travel to customers who became online “travel agents.” In order to become a travel agent, customers had to pay a one-time fee of nearly $450 and a monthly fee of $49.95 thereafter. “Travel agents” were promised up to 60% of travel commissions but they were never really travel agents; they merely referred travel customers to YTB and could only make money by recruiting others to join the illegal pyramid scheme. “While over half of the customers received no travel commissions at all, the officers and directors of YTB International, Inc. each paid themselves multi-million dollar salaries while also siphoning tens of millions of dollars from their publicly traded corporation to privately owned corporation that they owned and controlled.”The class action lawsuit is seeking compensation for the millions of dollars that YTB “swindled” from class members.

Has anyone been paid out for this yet? I had contact with the administrator in Feb. 2016 and now they have disappeared.
I was an Agent for years, but paid THEM every month, for that title, and was never able to convince anyone to join, so I made zero! Have NEVER been contacted, that there was a lawsuit going on, and just happened upon this site. Wow, interesting.
I was a YTB agent too. I put in my claim and nothing has happened and the website ytbsettlement.com disappeared
So sounds like YTB ended up getting us 2x. I also like the majority who have posted here was a victim that never was contacted. Would be nice to get my $500 back.
