The recall is for Wicklow Gold Cheddar Nettle & Chive 5.2 oz cheddar cheese and Wicklow Gold Cheddar Tomato & Herb 5.2 oz cheddar cheese, with sell by dates of June 2, 2025.
The recalled cheddar cheese products had “limited distribution” in the U.S. and sold in Maine Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Ohio and Colorado, according to the cheddar cheese recall.
Distributors have removed recalled cheddar cheese from shelves
Abbey Specialty Foods said there have been no reports of adverse health events in connection with the recall.
Distributors who received the recalled cheddar cheese have removed the product from their shelves, the company said.
Consumers who own the recalled cheddar cheese are advised to refrain from eating the product and to either throw it out or return it to its original place of purchase for a full refund.
