According to the recall notice, the small stones pose a possible risk of oral or digestive tract injury if consumed.
Recall batch an isolated issue, Ben’s Original states
The recall notice emphasizes that this issue is isolated to the specified batches and does not affect other Ben’s Original products. The company is committed to maintaining transparency and trust by removing the affected products from store shelves and informing consumers.
“If you believe you have purchased this product, please do not consume it,” the recall notice advises. Consumers are encouraged to contact Ben’s Original Consumer Care for returns and inquiries.
Ben’s Original is actively working to address the situation by removing the impacted products from distribution and notifying consumers.
The company has provided a contact number, 1-800-548-6253, for consumers to initiate returns and address any questions. The line is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. CST Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST on weekends.
