Owners and Lessees Of 2015 Cadillac Escalade Could Have Grounds for A LawsuitA current class action investigation is looking for lessees and owners of the 2015 Cadillac Escalade. These 2015 GM SUVs and trucks are subject to a recall associated with a faulty power steering system that could stop working with no warning.

Drivers and passengers could be at risk for harm due to shutdown of the power steering in certain Escalades and other GM vehicles. This can be a dangerous situation if the power steering shuts down, leading to an accident.

More than one million large pickup trucks and SUVs are being recalled by General Motors across the United States, one of which is the 2015 Cadillac Escalade. GM says the power steering can shut down briefly on this 2015 Cadillac Escalade and related vehicles.

The company says that during a drop in voltage, the power steering can temporarily fail, which is most likely to occur during low-speed turns. A failure like this could increase the risks of a crash.

Although the documents that were recently filed with the government about the recall did not indicate any crashes, this kind of failure would significantly increase the risk of a crash for a person driving the vehicle at the time that the power steering system shuts down.

A power steering failure could cause a driver to lose control of the vehicle entirely. Unfortunately, the number of car-related defects have been on the rise in recent years, putting drivers at risk of significant accidents and injuries.

With more than 1 million SUVs and pickups associated with this power steering problem, including the 2015 Cadillac Escalade, those consumers who are currently driving this version of the car need to be mindful of the accident risk.

The recall affects GMC Sierra 1500 pickups, the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban SUV models, the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado, the GMC Yukon SUVs, and the 2015 Cadillac Escalades. The company initiated the recall recently with the government and last year, the 2014 model year trucks were recalled for the same problem. The power steering software must be updated by dealers for free and no date has been set for the recall to begin.

Although the car manufacturing company did not share any information about accidents that they believe to have happened up to this point, there could still be consumers out there who suffered as a result of a crash and sustained serious injuries due to the failure of the power steering problem.

If you or someone you know has already been affected by the power steering issues and a total shut down in your 2015 Cadillac Escalade or related vehicles, you could have grounds to participate in a class action lawsuit investigation regarding your possible exposure to a safety risk that could have caused or did cause an accident.

My 2015 cadillac escalde does the shaking but probably the lifter GM issue or many of the other recalls or issues. The head gasket is blown, lifters are not working per diagnostics. Just turned 100,00 miles and it’s useless. I am 69 years old and walking while this GM product has sat in the driveway for months. Navigation screen doesnt work and now all cracked.
