A settlement has been proposed in a class action lawsuit alleging certain glucosamine and/or chondroitin supplements made by Pharmavite LLC do not provide the benefits touted on the product labels.
If you purchased certain TripleFlex, NatureMade and/or Berkley and Jensen (BJ’s) glucosamine products between May 1, 2007 and June 5, 2017, you may be entitled to a cash payment or free products from the glucosamine class action settlement.
Plaintiff Lorean Barrera alleges certain supplements manufactured by Pharmavite LLC contain deceptive, false and misleading statements on the packaging and labeling of glucosamine and/or chondroitin supplements.
According to the Pharmavite class action lawsuit, the products failed to provide the benefits advertised on the product label. Further, Barrera claims that the joint health claims were not backed up by scientific data.
Pharmavite denies the allegations and maintains it has done nothing wrong. However, it has agreed to settle the glucosamine supplement class action lawsuit to avoid the burden and expense of ongoing litigation.
Under the terms of the proposed glucosamine class action settlement, Pharmavite will pay $1 million in cash benefits and distribute $5.9 million in free products to eligible Class Members.
Pharmavite has also agreed to discontinue for a period of 24 months the use of the terms “rebuild,” “rebuilds,” “rebuilding,” “renew,” “renewing,” “renewal,” “rejuvenate,” “rejuvenates,” “rejuvenation,” or “rejuvenating” to describe the effect of glucosamine and/or chondroitin on cartilage.
The Pharmavite class action settlement was preliminarily approved on June 5, 2017.
Class Members who wish to object to or opt out of the Pharmavite supplement settlement must do so no later than Nov. 13, 2017.

I have been taking triple flex since 2013 ot 2014 and It has been great for me.- no knee issues, thank God, and now I can’t find it at Costco or anywhere else.
TRIPLE FLEX WAS GREAT FOR ME . TO BAD I CAN NOT GET IT ANYMORE
i havent recieved anything either, must be distributing the supplements on a rolling basis……i hope
I rec’d over $100 worth of vitamins and supplements. I’m pretty sure I asked for the money, but at least I got something.
I received large box of multi vitamins, probiotics, fish oil. I hate the urge vitamins, hard to swallow, also received gummy vitamins. I’d rather have the cash to buy the vitamins I take now but I guess it’s better than nothing.
