Top Class Actions viewers are starting to receive checks in the mail from a class action settlement that accused the maker of TRESemmé of falsely labeling its Naturals hair care product line.
According to comments and posts on the Top Class Actions Facebook page, Class Members who submitted timely and valid claims for the TRESemmé class action settlement began receiving checks worth as much as $7.97 on Feb. 6, 2017.
If you filed a claim for the TRESemmé Naturals class action settlement, keep an eye on your mailbox because checks are on their way!
The TRESemmé settlement resolves allegations that Conopco Inc. d/b/a Unilever misled consumers by making “natural” representations on its hair care despite including synthetic ingredients such as ammonium laureth sulfate, dipropylene glycol, and disodium EDTA.
Unilever denied the allegations but agreed to pay $3.25 million to settle the claims brought in this class action settlement.
In addition to creating a settlement fund to payout Class Members, Unilever also agreed to discontinue the TRESemmé products covered in this class action.
Class Members include consumers who purchased at least one of the following TRESemmé Naturals products:
- Nourishing Moisture Shampoo
- Nourishing Moisture Conditioner
- Radiant Volume Shampoo
- Radiant Volume Conditioner
- Vibrantly Smooth Shampoo
- Vibrantly Smooth Conditioner

I’ve been using it wondering why my hair fell out! OMG add me!!!
I used this product also for a short period of time . Maybe 6 months . My hair started thinning in my crown so quickly I knew something wasn’t right . I went to the dermatologist to answer some questions for me. She prescribed a minoxidil for me which I’m currently using . But ONG who would have thought !!!!????
