Boiron homeopathic productsTop Class Actions viewers are starting to receive a second disbursement from a class action settlement that accused homeopathic manufacturer Boiron of overstating the effectiveness of its products.

According to reader comments and posts on the Top Class Actions Facebook page, Class Members who submitted timely and valid claims for the Boiron settlement began receiving checks worth as much as $529.90 on June 13, 2016.

If you filed a claim for the Boiron class action settlement, keep an eye on your mailbox because you may soon be receiving your second payment!

The Boiron settlement resolves allegations that the company marketed homeopathic remedies for certain ailements that were essentially “sugar pills.”

Class Members who filed a Claim for the Boiron settlement received an initial disbursement of up to $100 per household.

However, according to the settlement agreement once all eligible Claims were paid, 50 percent of the remaining funds would be given to a Court-approved non-profit organization and the rest would be sent to claimants as a supplemental distribution.

Consumers who purchased one of the following products after Jan. 1, 2000 were considered Class Members:

  • Cocyntal
  • Coldcalm
  • Coldcalm Children’s*
  • *Excluding sales to California residents who purchased Children’s Coldcalm in the State of California after August 31, 2006.

  • Gasalia
  • Optique
  • Oscillococcinum
  • Oscillococcinum Children’s
  • Quietude
  • Roxalia
  • Sabadil
  • Sabadil Children’s
  • Sedalia
  • Sinusalia
  • Sportenine
  • Yeastaway

The deadline to file a Claim Form for the Boiron class action settlement passed on Sept. 27, 2012.

    Received check from boiron settlement and deposited the check and returned the following day what can I do now I owe the bank money need help.
