Quadratini ‘Natural’ Cookie Class Action Settlement Checks Mailed

Top Class Actions readers are starting to receive checks in the mail from a class action settlement that accused Quadratini wafer cookies manufacturer of falsely advertising its treat as “all natural.”

According to reader comments and posts on the Top Class Actions Facebook page, Class Members who submitted a valid claim for the Quadratini wafer cookie class action settlement started receiving checks worth as much as $41.80 on May 20, 2016.

If you filed a claim for the Quadratini settlement, keep checking your mailbox because you may soon be receiving your payment!

The Quadratini class action settlement resolves allegations that the cookie maker labeled its product as being “natural” when it actually included artificial ingredients such as cocoa processed with alkali, sodium acid pyrophosphate, soy lecithin, and sodium hydrogen carbonate.

Quadratini manufacturer Loacker USA Inc. denied the allegations but agreed to pay $1.2 million in order to settle the class action lawsuit and avoid the risk of trial.

Class Members of this settlement included all U.S. residents who bought Quadratini cookies between Mar. 6, 2010 and Sept. 3, 2015 in any size or flavor that was advertised as “all natural” or “natural.”

The deadline to file a claim for the Quadratini cookie settlement passed on Nov. 30, 2015.
