According to reader comments and posts on the Top Class Actions Facebook page,Class Members who received a robocall from Wells Fargo regarding a credit card account between 2009 and 2014, started receiving checks worth as much as $71.16 on Apr. 30, 2016.

In addition, consumers who bought Van’s frozen breakfast products anytime between 2009 and 2015 began receiving checks worth as much as $9.99 on May 2, 2016.

If you filed a claim for either of these settlements, keep an eye on your mailbox because checks are on the way!

The Wells Fargo class action settlement resolves allegations that the financial giant violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by placing automatic, prerecorded messages to cell phones without the consent of the recipient.

Wells Fargo denied the allegations but agreed to pay nearly $14 million to settle the lawsuit to avoid the cost of further litigation. 

The deadline to file a claim for the Wells Fargo TCPA settlement passed on June 9, 2015.

The plaintiffs in the Wells Fargo class action are represented by Kazerouni Law Group APC, the Law Offices of Douglas J. Campion APC, and Hyde & Swigart.

Van’s Food International Inc. agreed to pay $9 million to resolve allegations that the food manufacturer mislabeled frozen breakfast products as “all natural” when they contained artificial or synthetic ingredients.

In addition to the settlement fund, Van’s also agreed to remove the phrase “all natural” or “natural” from its frozen breakfast products including: pancakes, waffles, english muffins, french toast etc.

Van’s did not admit to any liability but agreed to the terms of the settlement to avoid the risk and burden of further litigation.

The deadline to file a claim for the Van’s all natural settlement passed on Dec. 16, 2015.
