Women who have filed Lipitor type-2 diabetes lawsuits are seeing them centralized in South Carolina, where the Lipitor lawsuits are being grouped to help streamline the process of discovery, depositions and more. Recently, a judge has approved fact sheets that will help group the plaintiffs by certain subjects.

The number of Lipitor type-2 diabetes lawsuits that are part of this multidistrict litigation (MDL) is already 600 or more, according to recently filed documents, making it all the more important for Lipitor class action lawsuit attorneys to be able to group side effects victims under similar circumstances.

The fact sheet is extensive for these Lipitor type-2 diabetes lawsuits, including roughly 20 items of various conditions that could also lead to elevated blood sugar levels, including weight gain as well as conditions that it can cause, including stroke. Plaintiffs will also need to provide where they have lived and what, if any, cholesterol medications they are taking. While it may seem like a significant amount of information, it is required to help establish case types in the event of a bellwether trial.
