Coinstar Redbox Movie Fee Class Action Lawsuit
By Mike Holter
Bruce Forkush alleges in the Coinstar class action lawsuit that the company made false and deceptive representations to him and other Redbox customers with respect to reserving, renting and billing policies pertaining to Redbox services. Korkush is asking the Court to find Coinstar liable for charging Redbox customers despite telling them they would not be charged for keeping disc rentals an additional day.
The Coinstar Redbox class action lawsuit is brought on behalf of all current Nevada residents who, as customers of Coinstar, reserved DVD, Blu Ray or video game rentals through Redbox’s online reservation system within the last four years.
The lawsuit is seeking class certification, compensatory damages, disgorgement and/or restitution, attorneys’ fees, court costs and pre-judgment interest.
The case is Bruce Forkush v. Coinstar, Inc., Case No. 12-cv-00006, U.S. District Court of Nevada.
