Breathe Right Snore Relief Class Action Lawsuit

By Matt O’Donnell

Breathe Right Snore Relief throat spray

A class action lawsuit filed in St. Clair County Court claims that “Breathe Right Snore Relief” throat spray neither helps users breathe right, nor provides snore relief.

According to the Breathe Right Snore Relief class action lawsuit, GlaxoSmithKline subsidiary CNS pushes the product with false claims that it: “(1) reduces loudness and frequency of snoring; (2) provides ’30 quiet nights’; (3) ‘can help 85 percent of snorers get relief’; and (4) ‘lubricates throat tissues to minimize vibrations and control the snoring sound.’ However, in truth and fact, Snore Relief does none of these things.”

The Snore Relief class action lawsuit says the ads violate the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act.

“CNS has no scientific or otherwise legitimate basis for making any of its efficacy claims,” the class action lawsuit states. “As such, these claims are unfair, unjust, and deceptive.”

The CNS Breathe Right class action lawsuit is seeking damages for all consumers in Illinois who purchased the product on or after September 28, 2004 up to the present. It is also seeking disgorgement of all money paid by the proposed Class, as well as court fees and attorney costs.

The case is Justin Swires v. CNS, Inc., Case No. 11LS87, Circuit Court for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit, St. Clair County, Illinois.

Lawyers and moochers destroy a good nights sleep. Why not sue Oboma for all the false claims he has made?

Please put the Throat stips back into production.

Glad I purchased 5 boxes a few years ago, almost out now. To bad for good people.

  2. marie taylor says:

my husband said i kept snoring even with the breathe right & I didn’t believe him. I recorded myself & guess what, I hadn’t snored with it but snored without it. That says something.

  3. Joe says:

It worked great for me as well. I bet the pharmaceutical companies are in on this.

  4. Carolyn Taylor says:

Breathe Right Snore Relief throat spray is wonderful for stopping the coughing during the night. It coats the throat and my husband and I can sleep.

Snore relief throat spray is the only product that works for me. Please put it back on the market so my husband and I can sleep peacefully again.

I used this product to stop dental retching, and it was the only thing which made dental visits possible. This lawsuit needs to be thrown out

  7. Anonymous says:

The throat spray worked for my husband as did the throat strips. Who sues a company because a product didn’t work for them? Really? Just get a refund and let others buy the product if it worked for them. We have come to rely on this product for a quiet night’s sleep. This is a bogus lawsuit.

  8. Anonymous says:

Worked for me as well. So it didn’t work for someone; refund their money and let the rest of us help our wives get some sleep :)

  9. Anonymous says:

Put it back on market- alter advertising, but bring it back. Works for me big time
    Wife loves the results
    Help
    Where can we find some

  10. Anonymous says:

Now I know why my husband can not find Breath Right Snore Relief. It works for him. I get a good nights sleep when he uses it and now it is off the market because of this silly lawsuit.
