How FullBeauty Brands allegedly misled shoppers with fake sales

Online shoppers report that FullBeauty Brands regularly made it appear as though they were getting big discounts on clothing, shoes and home goods, when in fact, the deals may not have been real. Complaints allege that the company used two main tactics to make customers think they were saving money, even when they were paying the full retail value.

Inflated ‘regular’ prices

According to consumers, brands like Woman Within, Roaman’s and KingSize often promoted discounts of 30% to 75% off — but the original “regular” prices were set artificially high. In many cases, the sale price was the same as, or even higher than, the item’s normal price. Shoppers say this practice created the illusion of a deal that did not actually exist.

Never-ending ‘limited-time’ sales

Customers also report that FullBeauty brands regularly run so-called limited-time promotions. However, when one sale is scheduled to end, a new one will immediately start with similar discounts. This constant cycle of short-term deals allegedly pressured shoppers to buy quickly, making them feel they might miss out if they waited.

Taken together, these practices may have exaggerated the savings and influenced how much shoppers spent, potentially costing customers more than they expected.
