Recall issued for Walmart Great Value chicken broth
Walmart recalled 2,023 cases of Great Value chicken broth due to a potential packaging failure that could compromise sterility and lead to spoilage.
The recall affects Great Value chicken broth packaged in 48-ounce paper cartons with a best-by date of March 25, 2026. Customers should discard any remaining product with the affected date code and contact Walmart for a full refund, the recall notice states.
Walmart has not reported any illnesses or injuries related to the recall and is working with the supplier to investigate the issue, according to the recall notice. Walmart locations in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas sold the affected chicken broth.
Taquitos sold at Aldi recalled due to potential metal contamination
Bestway Sandwiches recalled approximately 25,000 pounds of Casa Mamita Chicken & Cheese Taquitos due to potential contamination with metal.
The recall affects 20-ounce cartons of frozen taquitos with best-by dates of July 3, 2025, and Sept. 25, 2025, and establishment number EST. P-40327 printed on the bottom panel. Bestway sold the taquitos at Aldi grocery stores nationwide.
The company initiated the recall after two consumer complaints, including one incident involving a dental injury, according to the recall notice. Customers should not consume the affected products. Instead, they should discard them or return them to Aldi for a full refund.
Recall initiated for Sig Sauer sights due to ingestion hazardÂ
Sig Sauer recalled approximately 230,000 Romeo5 Red Dot Sights due to a violation of federal regulations regarding button cell batteries.
The recall applies to Sig Sauer Romeo5 Red Dot Sights, Model SOR52001, with part no. 7400579. These sights contain easily accessible button cell batteries that fail to meet federal safety standards, the recall notice states. If swallowed, the batteries can cause serious injuries, internal burns or death, particularly in children.
Sig Sauer sold the recalled sights nationwide at Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Academy Sports, Scheels, independent firearms stores and online retailers, including sigsauer.com, amazon.com and opticsplanet.com between February 2023 and December 2024.
Consumers should immediately stop using the affected products and contact Sig Sauer to submit a serial number picture to receive a free recall kit, according to the recall notice. The kit includes a new battery compartment cap with proper labeling and updated instructions.Â
Tesla recalls several models due to potential rearview camera defect
Tesla recalled 239,382 vehicles due to an electrical issue that may cause the rearview camera image to fail.
The recall applies to the 2024–2025 Tesla Model 3 and Model S, as well as the 2023–2025 Tesla Model X and Model Y. A circuit board can short, resulting in the loss of the rearview camera image and reducing the driver’s rear visibility, which increases the risk of a crash, according to the recall notice.
Tesla released a free over-the-air software update to address the problem and will inspect and replace affected components in vehicles that experienced or are at risk of circuit board failure, the recall notice says.Â
Cheese recall announced due to potential listeria contaminationÂ
Abbey Specialty Foods recalled Wicklow Gold Cheddar Nettle & Chive and Wicklow Gold Cheddar Tomato & Herb cheeses due to potential contamination with listeria monocytogenes.
The recall affects 5.2-ounce packages of both cheese varieties with a sell-by date of June 2, 2025. Customers should refrain from consuming the affected products and either discard them or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund, the recall notice states.
Abbey Specialty Foods has not reported any illnesses or injuries related to the recall. The company distributed the affected products in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Ohio and Colorado, and distributors already removed the recalled items from shelves.
