Systane eye drops recalled over potential fungal contaminationÂ
Alcon Laboratories recalled one lot of its Systane Lubricant Eye Drops Ultra PF due to potential fungal contamination.
The recall affects lot no. 10101 with an expiration date of September 2025, according to the recall notice.
Alcon packaged the eye drops in 25-count single-use vials and distributed them nationwide through retail and online outlets. According to the recall notice, fungal contamination could cause eye infections, which may pose vision-threatening risks that could become life-threatening for immunocompromised individuals.
Alcon advises consumers to stop using the affected product immediately and return it to the place of purchase for a replacement or refund, the recall notice states.

The recall affects products with best-by dates of May 21, 2026, and June 23, 2026, according to the recall notice.Â
Northwest Naturals distributed the impacted cat food in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Washington and British Columbia, Canada.

Kia EV9 vehicles recalled due to missing seat bolts
Kia recalled nearly 23,000 of its 2024-2025 EV9 hybrid electric vehicles due to missing seat-mounting bolts in the second- and/or third-row seats.
The recall applies to vehicles manufactured between Sept. 25, 2023, and Oct. 15, 2024, at Kia’s Autoland Gwangmyeong assembly plant in Korea, the recall notice says. Missing seat bolts could result in loose seats or rattling noises and may fail to properly restrain occupants during an accident, increasing the risk of injury.
Kia says it will notify owners by mail on or around Jan. 24, 2025, with instructions to visit a Kia dealer for inspection and installation of any missing bolts.Â
For more information, owners can contact Kia at 800-333-4542 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration at 888-327-4236.
Jeep Grand Cherokee recalled over rearview camera defect
Stellantis recalled nearly 80,000 Jeep vehicles due to a software defect that may prevent rearview camera images from displaying.
The recall affects 79,365 vehicles, including specific 2024 Jeep Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L models, the recall notice states. Incorrect software in the rearview camera module could cause the camera image to fail during backing maneuvers, potentially leading to injuries if the driver does not verify it is safe to proceed.
The defect causes the vehicles to fall short of federal safety standards, according to the recall notice. Stellantis says it will notify owners by mail by Jan. 21, 2025, with instructions to bring affected vehicles to a dealership for a free software update to resolve the issue.Â
Ford recalls F-150 Lightning due to steering defect
Ford recalled nearly 12,000 F-150 Lightning battery electric vehicles due to a defect that could result in a loss of steering control.
The recall affects 11,922 model year 2023-2024 Ford F-150 Lightning BEV trucks, according to the recall notice. A front upper control arm ball joint nut may not have been properly tightened during assembly, potentially causing the control arm to detach from the knuckle assembly. This defect increases the risk of a crash by compromising steering control.
Ford dealers will inspect and tighten the ball joint nut if necessary free of charge, the recall notice says. The automaker says it plans to mail owner notification letters by Feb. 3, 2025.Â
