The recalls were initiated by Baloian Farms of Arizona and Russ Davis Wholesale.
Baloian Farms’ recall involved all sizes of its whole fresh American cucumbers packaged in bulk cardboard containers labeled with the brand name “Pamela.”
The company said it initiated the recall after discovering its supplier SunFed Produce provided them with cucumbers that may be associated with reported salmonella illnesses between Oct. 12, 2024, and Nov. 15, 2024, according to the Baloian Farms recall.
The recalled cucumbers were sold between Oct. 12, 2024 through Nov. 26, 2024 to customers in 18 U.S. states and the Canadian provinces of Alberta and British Columbia.
Baloian Farms said the recalled cucumbers would have reached consumers through retail and foodservice outlets.
