A variety of Buick vehicles have recently been recalled. The Buick recalls are over problems with airbags, steering and ignition.
One of the defects noted in the Buick recalls is a problem with the ignition switch. This defect causes the affected ignition to switch off while in operation.
This disables essential features like power steering, power breaks and airbags. This serious defect has been linked with a number of crashes and fatalities.
According to lawsuits over the Buick recalls, GM has been aware that drivers faced risks of these ignition defects in vehicles since as early as 2001, yet failed to alert consumers about these defects.
GM added further Buick recalls in 2014, when it recalled cars that had defective side-impact airbags. When these vehicles were sold, they had defective wiring harnesses which could cause side-impact airbags, front center airbags and seat belt pretensioners to malfunction in the event of a crash.
Lawsuits claim that GM knew about these problems for considerable time before adding them to its list of recalls in 2014.
GM also reportedly sold over a million vehicles with a power steering defect between 2003 and 2010. The defect causes a vehicle’s electric power steering capabilities to suddenly fail, which increases the likelihood that a driver may lose control of a vehicle and increase their risk of crash and injury.
Buick Recalls Lawsuits
If you have a vehicle named in the Buick recalls, you may be eligible to receive compensation.
Vehicles affected in the Buick recalls include:
Buick Enclave 2008-2013
Buick Lacrosse 2005-2009
Buick Lucerne 2006-2011
Buick Enclaves have been included in these Buick recalls for a variety of potential defects, including the wiring harness problem involved with the side impact airbags. The Lacrosse and Lucerne have been noted for ignition problems and other essential functions.
Owners of the vehicles involved in the Buick recalls have been driving unsafe cars for years because of GM’s failure to warn about the safety issues linked with defects.
While Buick recalls have been announced, dissatisfied or injured customers may be able to file a lawsuit over their defective Buick vehicles. Lawsuits will seek statutory damages under consumer protection laws, as well as punitive and other damages.
If you have purchased a Buick Enclave, Buick Lacrosse or Buick Lucerne from the years listed above, or another vehicle recently recalled by GM, you may be eligible to receive compensation through a Buick recalls lawsuit or by joining a class action lawsuit.
In general, acid reflux medication lawsuits are filed individually by each plaintiff and are not class actions.

I bought a used 2007 buick Lucerne 2 years ago. Started having problems with transmission, I was able to drive in 2 gear, I took it to the shop to have replaced, the mechanic told me the transmission wasn’t the original one. I got it replaced and now this one is slipping starting back in September. I want to fix it but how many transmissions am I going to have to buy, they are not cheap.
I have a Buick Lacrosse 2013 and all the descriptions mention above apply. Add me in please
