  • Why: The recalled pajamas violate the flammability regulations for children’s sleepwear.
  • Where: The children’s pajamas recall is active in the United States.

Duluth Trading Co. has recalled more than 22,000 sets of children’s pajamas as they violate the flammability regulations for children’s sleepwear.

The Duluth Trading Co. recall was published to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission website on Jan. 23. It applies to approximately 22,400 two-piece children’s holiday pajama sets sold in four styles: holiday birch truck, classic red, Christmas beaver and mountain green.

According to the recall, the recalled children’s pajamas violate flammability regulations for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

Duluth has not received any reports of injuries related to the recall so far. The company is not facing legal action but Top Class Actions follows recall closely as they can sometimes result in lawsuits.

Duluth Trading Co. recall offers full refund for pajamas

The recalled pajamas were sold at Duluth Trading stores nationwide and online between October 2019 and November 2024 for about $35.

The company says consumers should “immediately take the recalled pajamas away from children, stop using them,” and contact Duluth Trading for a full refund of the full price in the original form of payment or as store credit. Consumers will be asked to destroy the garments by cutting the top and bottom in half and disposing of them.

Last year, two brands of children’s pajamas sold on the popular online retail marketplace Temu were recalled, as the pajamas breach flammability standards and pose a burn hazard to children.
