Yes To Grapefruit Unicorn Mask $750K Class Action Settlement

Consumers who bought or used a Yes To Grapefruit Vitamin C Glow-Boosting Unicorn Mask may be eligible for a cash payment thanks to a $750,000 class action settlement with Yes To Inc.

The Class consists of anyone who purchased or used the Yes To Grapefruit Vitamin C Glow-Boosting Unicorn Paper Mask in the United States at any time.

Class Members will be able to claim an average of $3 per product, up to a maximum of six products, without providing proof of purchase.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced a recall of the Yes To Grapefruit masks in January 2020 after consumers reported redness and skin irritation after using the masks.

A class action lawsuit filed the same month accused the company of knowing about a customer complaint regarding the Yes To Grapefruit mask as early as September 2019, but not taking any action.

Yes To makes a variety of skincare products sold at more than 27,000 stores throughout the world, according to the company’s website.

Class Members may submit claims for each of the products they purchased or used during the Class Period.

The amount of each Class Member’s payment will be based on the product’s average retail price of $3. Class Members may claim a maximum of six products.

However, that amount may increase or decrease proportionately depending on the number of claims submitted.

A final approval hearing is scheduled for Sept. 24, 2021.

Anyone who wishes to object to the Yes To Grapefruit Unicorn Mask settlement has until June 29, 2021, to do so.

Those who want to exclude themselves from the settlement have until Aug. 13, 2021.

The deadline to file a claim is also Aug. 13, 2021.

Anyone who purchased or used the Yes To Grapefruit Vitamin C Glow-Boosting Unicorn Paper Mask in the United States at any time.
