Old Spice has been a popular deodorant brand for many years, so many users of the brand assume that there are not any side effects like burns or deodorant rash.

A growing number of injured consumers are reporting Old Spice Swagger burns or rashes after using the popular deodorant brand.

Old Spice Swagger Complaints

Users are uploading complaints and pictures detailing the sometimes serious Old Spice Swagger rashes and burns they have experienced after using the deodorant.

Usually these burns are under the arms, which can be very painful.

Despite the increasing number of complaints and pictures of Old Spice Swagger side effects, a company spokesperson said that Old Spice goes to “great lengths to ensure our products are safe to use. Tens of millions of men use this product with confidence and without incident.”

Procter & Gamble, the Old Spice manufacturer, is currently facing a class action lawsuit. The lawsuit alleges that Procter & Gamble has sold a number of defective Old Spice deodorant products, which have in turn caused some serious side effects in some consumers.

This class action lawsuit includes any class members who have used an Old Spice product and later developed deodorant rash or a chemical burn.

Old Spice products included in this class action and linked with deodorant rash side effects include the following:

  • Old Spice Swagger Deodorant
  • Old Spice After Hours Deodorant
  • Old Spice Champion Deodorant
  • Old Spice Pure Sport High Endurance Deodorant
  • Old Spice Arctic Force High Endurance Deodorant
  • Old Spice Bearglove Deodorant
  • Old Spice Lionpride Deodorant
  • Old Spice Fresh High Endurance Deodorant
  • Old Spice Aqua Reef Deodorant
  • Old Spice Classic Fresh Deodorant
  • Old Spice Fiji Deodorant
  • Old Spice Wolfthorn Deodorant
  • Old Spice Champion Deodorant

Consumers who have been harmed by Old Spice Swagger or another product will not be physically helped by filing a lawsuit, but the money from a lawsuit can help to compensate for financial expenses from medical bills or even lost wages.

The lead plaintiff in the Old Spice class action lawsuit alleges that, after using an Old Spice deodorant product just a few times, he developed a painful, burning rash underneath his arm.

Other plaintiffs have been sharing similar stories and posting photos and videos of the chemical burns and rashes they allege were caused by Old Spice deodorant products.

The class action includes over 100 consumers who claim to have been harmed by Old Spice deodorant rash side effects after using one of the company’s popular deodorant products.

The lawsuit claims that, because of products like Old Spice Swagger, “consumers were/are systematically injured, harmed, and forced to discard P&G’s products without the benefit of its full intended use and purpose.”
