TourFactory class action settlement

Home Debut Inc. d/b/a TourFactory has agreed to pay $142,500 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it fails to adequately disclose the terms of its subscription membership program.

If you paid subscription fees to TourFactory between June 9, 2013 and Jan. 26, 2018, you may be entitled to compensation from the TourFactory class action settlement.

TourFactory is a digital marketing company that provides a variety of visual media services for real estate professionals, including virtual property tours, property websites, 3D walk-throughs, and other services.

TourFactory sells memberships to real estate professionals that include website hosting, custom flyers, YouTube video creation, social media options, and customer support.

Plaintiff Carrie Warren filed the TourFactory class action lawsuit, which challenges the marketing and billing elements of TourFactory’s subscription program. She claims the terms of the subscription membership program are not adequately disclosed.

TourFactory denies any wrongdoing and maintains its disclosures about the subscription membership program are proper. However, the company agreed to settle the subscription fees class action lawsuit to avoid the time and expense associated with ongoing litigation.

Class Members who would like to opt out of or object to the TourFactory settlement must do so no later than April 23, 2018.

Who’s Eligible

Class Members of the TourFactory settlement include anyone who paid subscription fees to TourFactory between June 9, 2013 and Jan. 26, 2018.
