If you applied for a job with Omnicare, you may be able to take part in a $1.3 million class action settlement over allegations that the company did not provide the proper disclosures required under the Fair Credit Reporting Act during the application process.

The Omnicare class action lawsuit alleged that job seekers were required to fill out a background authorization request and liability waiver that included extra information, rather than a separate document mandated under the FCRA.

Under the terms of the Omnicare class action settlement, 50,000 Class Members will each receive approximately $16.50.

Class Members include those who applied with Omnicare between May 4, 2010 and May 25, 2018 and had a background check or credit report pulled as a part of the job application process.

Omnicare admits no wrongdoing under the terms of the class action settlement agreement. Class Members will receive notice of the class action settlement and should the settlement be approved at the final hearing, payments will be sent automatically to Class Members who have not objected to or excluded themselves from the settlement.

Class Members have until Nov. 12, 2018 to object to or exclude themselves from the settlement.

The final approval hearing will be held on Dec. 20, 2018.

Why does everyone think that commenting on an article qualifies them for consideration in this class action lawsuit? ??‍♀️

It’s called “Entitlement” Unfortuneately, the current generation believes they are entitled to anything they desire and woe to the person that says “NO” to them! 🤣
