Robert Bosch GmbH and Robert Bosch LLC have reportedly agreed to pay $327.5 million to settle a class action lawsuit over its role in supplying the emissions software installed in Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche vehicles involved in the VW emissions scandal. This proposed class action settlement is separate from and in addition to the 2.0-liter and 3.0-liter VW diesel emissions settlements.
If you are a Class Member of either the 2.0-liter VW settlement or the 3.0-liter VW settlement, you are eligible to file a claim for cash benefits from the Bosch class action settlement.
Bosch is the manufacturer of the emissions software included in certain 2.0-liter and 3.0-liter Audi, Porsche and Volkswagen vehicles that controlled whether the vehicles’ emissions systems operated in a manner that was compliant with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resource Board standards.
Bosch, along with the manufacturers of the affected vehicles, was named as a defendant in the massive multidistrict litigation titled In re: Volkswagen “Clean Diesel” Marketing, Sales Practices and Products Liability Litigation, which claims that defeat software designed to bypass emissions standards was installed in certain Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche vehicles.
After lengthy court-ordered negotiations, the Bosch defendants agreed to settle the diesel emissions class action lawsuit. By agreeing to this class action settlement, Bosch can avoid the cost, risk and delay associated with litigation.

The deadline to opt out of or object to the Bosch diesel emissions software settlement is April 14, 2017.

Hello, I did own a Diesel VW Jetta 2013 and received a buyback payment. I am not clear what I have to do now to receive this Bosch settlement. Thank You for your help. ~ Nancy Jones
I too have not received Bosch settlement or know how to proceed. They should not be getting away with this. They owe us. I owned a Jetta diesel. Filed and waited for ever for them to buy it back and finally gave up and traded it for Subaru. (Love it)
