HP agreed to a $4 million class action lawsuit settlement to resolve claims it advertised misleading discounts on its website.
The HP class action settlement benefits consumers who purchased HP desktop computers, laptops, mice and keyboards at a discount on HP’s website between June 5, 2021, and Oct. 28, 2024.
According to the HP misleading discounts class action lawsuit, HP advertised misleading discounts on its website that led consumers to believe they were getting a better deal than they actually were. As a result, consumers allegedly paid more for HP products than they would have if they had been presented with accurate pricing.
HP is a technology company that sells laptops, desktops, printers and other products.
HP has not admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $4 million class action settlement to resolve the allegations.
Under the terms of the HP class action settlement, class members can receive a cash payment between $10 and $100. Exact payment amounts will vary depending on the number of products purchased and the product type.
For example, class members who purchased an HP ENVY Desktop TE020250xt can receive a $100 payment, while those who purchased an HP X3000 G2 Wireless Mouse can receive a $10 payment.
Payments may be reduced on a pro rata basis depending on the number of claims filed with the settlement.

I am still locked into control with hp for printer and supplies. They charge way too much but won’t let me out of contact.
