Shapermint has agreed to pay $475,000 as part of a class action lawsuit settlement to resolve claims it deceptively advertised discounts on its website.

Plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit accused Shapermint of deceptively advertising discounts on its website. According to the plaintiffs, the company would list a false “sale” price for its products that was significantly higher than the actual price the products were sold for.

Shapermint is an online retailer that sells shapewear, bras, underwear, leggings, bodysuits and other products.

Shapermint has not admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to this $475,000 settlement to resolve the false advertising class action lawsuit.

Under the terms of the Shapermint class action settlement, class members can receive a $6 voucher to use on shapermint.com. Class members who purchased four or more products from the website during the class period may receive a larger voucher of up to $12.

The deadline for exclusion and objection was July 23, 2025.

The final approval hearing for the Shapermint discount settlement is scheduled for Aug. 31, 2025.

No claim form is required to benefit from the settlement. Class members who do not exclude themselves will automatically receive a settlement voucher. Class members who wish to submit a claim to increase their settlement payment must do so by Oct. 1, 2025.

California residents who purchased one or more “Shapermint Essentials,” “Empetua,” and/or “Truekind” branded shapewear products from Favorite World LLC’s website, shapermint.com, at a discounted price below the listed MSRP for personal, family or household purposes between April 19, 2020, and July 14, 2025.
