Construction:

A settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit that alleges Vista Real Estate Inc. and JWC Inc. d/b/a/ Prudential Jack White Real Estate violated Alaska law by failing to provide written acknowledgements that the companies would be acting as representatives on both sides of the real estate transaction.

If you were a buyer or seller of Alaska residential real estate between April 15, 1999 and April 15, 2002, and agents of Vista Real Estate or JWC represented both the buyer and the seller in the same transaction, your rights may be affected by the Alaska real estate class action settlement.

The Alaska real estate class action lawsuit was filed in September 2002, and the Class was initially certified in August 2010. The Class certification order was amended in December 2015 to include Prudential defendants.
