Three rabbits eat from a red bowl - Manna pro

UPDATE:

  • The Court granted final approval to this class action settlement Oct. 27, 2021.
  • Let Top Class Actions know when you receive a check in the comments section below or on our Facebook page.

Manna Pro customers in California who purchased rabbit food marketed as containing no corn may be eligible to benefit from a $62,500 class action settlement.

The Class is made up of anyone who purchased a bag of Select Series Pro Formula Rabbit Food while residing in California between Jan. 30, 2014, and May 14, 2019.

Current or former employees, officers, directors, agents, or legal representatives of Manna Pro Products and its affiliated entities are not eligible to participate.

No proof of purchase is required with the initial claim; however, additional information supporting the claim may be requested in the future.

A class action lawsuit had claimed Manna Pro marketed and sold the rabbit food as containing no corn, when certain bags sold in California were actually found to contain the ingredient, violating California’s False Advertisement and Unfair Competition laws.

Manna Pro has denied all allegations of wrongdoing, and the Court has not ruled in favor of either party.

However, both parties agree a settlement is in everyone’s best interest in order to avoid ongoing litigation.

Manna Pro touts itself as a manufacturer of “high-quality, nutritionally wholesome feeds, supplements and treats” for animals, according to the company’s website.

Manna Pro sells products for pets, such as cats and dogs, as well as for poultry, goats and sheep, cattle, swine, and other animals.

Under the terms of the settlement agreement, Class Members are entitled to a pro rata share of the settlement fund.

If the settlement is approved, Class Members submitting a valid claim form will receive a check by mail.

A final approval hearing is scheduled for May 28, 2021.

Class Members who want to opt out of or object to the settlement must do so by May 10, 2021.

The deadline to file a claim is June 9, 2021.

Who saves receipts for rabbit food from 7 years ago. These clowns want proof last minute there is only 3 days to submit proof. They never planned on paying out a dime of the measly $62,500 that all went to lawyers and administrative costs. These postcards are nothing but a waste of money and a blanket denial.

  7. ? says:

Wow they say no proof. And then they want proof. What a joke
