Columbus Regional Healthcare System (CRHS) agreed to a $1.175 million class action lawsuit settlement to resolve claims that it failed to prevent a 2023 data breach.
The Columbus Regional Healthcare System settlement benefits individuals whose private information may have been involved in the CRHS data breach on May 21, 2023.
According to the data breach class action lawsuit, Columbus Regional Healthcare System failed to protect consumer information from a data breach that compromised sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers and health insurance data.
