swarovski class action settlement

A settlement has been reached in a Swarovski ZIP code class action lawsuit, and if you are a Class Member then you may be entitled to compensation.

According to the Swarovski class action lawsuit, the jewelry company was accused of allegedly requesting and recording consumers’ personal identification information after they attempted to pay for their purchase with a credit card.

Personal information that may have been requested and recorded by a Swarovski store to a consumer using a credit card to pay for a purchase include, but are not limited to:

  • Postal Addresses

Requesting and recording this information is a violation of California’s Song-Beverly Credit Card Act of 1971.

Swarovski denies all liability and wrongdoing in this ZIP code class action lawsuit, but has agreed to settlement in order to avoid the uncertainty of continued litigation and court costs.

Per the terms of the Swarovski class action settlement, the company will provide Class Members with $15 vouchers that can be used on any purchase at a Swarovski store with no minimum purchase necessary or a $50 voucher eligible for use on any Swarovski purchase over $150.
