About the Amtrak Train Crash

Amtrak Train 188 was carrying nearly 240 passengers (with additional crew members) on the evening of May 12, when the train suddenly went off of the tracks.

The Amtrak tain was passing through a curved section of the track in the Frankford neighborhood of Philadelphia when the crash occured. Eight people were killed in the Amtrak train crash, while six were critically injured and many more were hospitalized.
