Class Action Settlements Closing Week of Sept. 2, 2013

 


Three class action lawsuit settlements are closing the first week of September. If you’re a California resident who purchased Boiron Children’s Coldcalm or shopped at a Quicksilver store, or if you received a Southwest drink coupon, you may be able to claim a cash refund or a free voucher.

Here are the details on how to file a claim.

Southwest drink voucher settlementSouthwest Drink Voucher Class Action Settlement (Claim Deadline: September 2, 2013)

Southwest Airlines has reached a class action lawsuit settlement with customers who received Southwest drink coupons but were unable to redeem them. If you received a Southwest drink coupon through the purchase of a Business Select ticket prior to August 1, 2010, but did not redeem it for a free drink, you can claim a free replacement voucher through the class action settlement.

Class Members will receive one drink voucher to replace any voucher that was not redeemed prior to August 1, 2010. You do not need to still have the actual unredeemed drink coupons in your possession in order to submit a Claim, and there is no limit or cap on the number of replacement vouchers you can claim. However, your claim is subject to an audit by Southwest pursuant to its records.

The deadline to submit a claim is September 2, 2013.

Children's Coldcalm settlementBoiron Children’s Coldcalm Class Action Settlement (Claim Deadline: September 3, 2013)

The Children’s Coldcalm settlement will resolve claims that Boiron Inc. of falsely advertised the effectiveness of its homeopathic cold medicine Children’s Coldcalm.

Class Members of the Children’s Coldcalm settlement include all persons who purchased Boiron Children’s Coldcalm in the State of California for personal use between August 31, 2006 and September 3, 2013 and were a resident of California at the time of purchase.

Class Members can receive a full refund with proof of purchase (receipt), or $12.99 per product purchased if they still have the product package. Class Members without proof of purchase can still claim $8.00 per product if they swear under penalty of perjury that they purchased Children’s Coldcalm during the Class Period.

The deadline to submit a claim is September 3, 2013.

Quiksilver settlementQuiksilver Store Class Action Settlement (Claim Deadline: September 9, 2013)

Quiksilver Inc. has reached a class action lawsuit settlement with California customers who were asked to provide their personal identification information while making an in-store credit card purchase.

If you were asked to provide your postal address, e-mail address and/or phone number during a credit card transaction at a Quiksilver-owned store, you may be eligible to claim a free Merchandise Certificate from the class action settlement. Quicksilver stores include Quicksilver, Quicksilver Youth, Roxy and DC. The purchase must have been made at a California store between October 7, 2009 and April 1, 2013.

    I received my quicksilver coupon as the settlement and the coupon code did not work online or when i call a rep to help me.
