Duracell-Ultra-BatteriesTop Class Actions readers are starting to report receiving settlement checks in the mail from a class action lawsuit that claimed Duracell Ultra Batteries were falsely advertised.

According to comments and posts on the Top Class Actions Facebook page, Class Members who submitted timely and valid claims for the Duracell settlement began receiving checks worth as much as $6 on Apr. 11, 2016.

Top Class Actions has been following the Duracell class action settlement since 2013.

Gillette and Procter & Gamble denied all accusations in the lawsuit but agreed to the settlement to avoid the cost of further litigation.

If you filed a claim for the Duracell batteries class action settlement, keep an eye on your mailbox because you may soon be receiving your payment!

The Duracell class action settlement resolves allegations that Gillette and Procter & Gamble deceptively marketed Ultra Batteries as lasting “Up to 30% Longer in Toys* *vs. Ultra Digital.”

Duracell consumers who were able to provide receipts were refunded $12 under the settlement, while those individuals who submitted a Claim Form without proof received up to $6.

Class Members of the Duracell battery class action lawsuit settlement included all U.S. residents who bought AA or AAA Duracell brand Ultra Advanced and/or Ultra Power batteries at a retail store any time between June 2009 and April 2014.

The deadline to file a claim for the Duracell class action settlement passed on Apr. 10, 2014.

    My batteries did not last 30% longer I put them to the test and my ikea batteries lasted longer I’m not a fan of fauls advertisement
