Top Class Actions has been following the Red Bull class action lawsuits and the following settlement since 2014.

In the Red Bull class action lawsuits filed by plaintiffs Benjamin Careathers, David Wolf, and Miguel Almaraz, the energy drink consumers alleged that the manufacturer falsely advertised it’s product with promises of vitalizing body and mind, when in fact the beverage had no greater effect than a cup of coffee or caffeine pill.

Class Members of the Red Bull class action settlement included all persons who made at least one purchase of Red Bull Products in the U.S. between Jan. 1, 2002 and Oct. 3, 2014.

Under the terms of the Red Bull settlement, Class Members had the option of choosing either a cash payout or free Red Bull products.

The deadline to file a claim for the Red Bull class action settlement passed on March 2, 2015.

  3. Sergio says:

How can such a stupid American believe in this advertisement by giving you wings? By saying this we can sue Marvel and many other movie production companies for all those fiction films. People use logic and common sense once in a while!

I sent them an e-mail with my new address but they sent it to the old one. I asked them to resend, and they did, but by the time I got the check it was expired. I didn’t realize that you have such a short period of time to cash it because it comes out of a fund. If you don’t cash it by a certain date then it goes to the state, and then you can wait several years to claim it again. A lot of work for $4.25, lol. So I kept the check as a souvenir. I should have asked for the cans. This was almost two years ago.

  7. Debra L Carey says:

    Never received a check

  8. Jim says:

Same as above. Depositing $2.01 check cost me a $19 “Stopped Payment” fee. I called and got it waived, but what’s up with the administration of these settlement funds?

    1. See says:

I never received a check. Called the administrator of these settlement funds and was told them mailed me a check in Feb 2016 which was returned by the post office to them so they voided it. I asked why they didn’t call me for my new address when the check was returned to them. Was rudely told “they don’t make calls.” Asked if they will re-issue the check and they refused as it is past their deadline to re-issue.

    2. Charlotte hall says:

Cost me 15 when I deposited this wasn’t right

  9. Liz says:

$2.01 settlement check deposited last week was returned “Stop Payment”. Bank charged $20 Stop Payment Fee. Absolutely disgusting.
