A federal court has preliminarily approved a class action lawsuit settlement with Boiron, Inc. that will provide up to $5 million in refunds to consumers who purchased certain Boiron homeopathic products, including Oscillo, Arnicare, Chestal and Coldcalm.
The Boiron settlement will resolve a class action lawsuit, entitled Gallucci v. Boiron, Inc., that alleges Boiron made false claims about the effectiveness of its homeopathic products’ treatment of ailments such as the flu, arthritis, sore joints, join pain, aches, fever, coughs, insomnia or sleeplessness.
According to the class action lawsuit, the active ingredients in Boiron’s products are so diluted that they are “effectively non-existent,” making them nothing more than sugar pills.
The proposed Boiron class action settlement was reached after “extensive investigation and discovery” by Class Counsel, which examined approximately 400,000 documents — including scientific articles, marketing data, sales figures, and more – and consulted with a scientific expert, court documents say.
The Court also certified a class consisting of all U.S. consumers who purchased Boiron products from January 1, 2000 to Final Judgment in the litigation.

There’s something fishy going on here, and it isn’t Boiron. The “scientific integrity” group sounds like a front for drug companies. Homeopathy is the best medicine on Earth. It has been protected by federal law since 1938 because it was obvious even back then that drug companies and the American Medical Ass’n wanted to get rid of it. Since it’s all-natural, it can’t be patented which means it brings in only small profits. Shame on anyone involved in this integrity-lacking lawsuit against homeopathy.
interesting. thanks
I GOT $10.00 TODAY. THANK GOD & T.C.A.
this is just sad, that some “hungry” lawyers and people make those kind of nonsense cases happened. I see homeopathic medicines working in my practice every day. It helps people to prevent flu and get over cold faster, as well as provide help with many other conditions. If someone insists on “placebo” effect, check animals studies, animals can’t fake the placebo effect and world wide vets are using homeopathy with tremendous treatment success. This just my humble clinician opinion and btw i am board certified in internal medicine, so i know the best of both worlds… this is sad that good medicine is being penalized…..
Hello Mr. Randi.
Can you explain the case of false replication Horizon program in 2002, in the ABC / BBC?
For that Professor Martin Bland has not answered emails sent for years?
Since we now know that this was a kind of experiment Hoax, is important to take action against the foundation Randi, do not you think?
I think the fact that homeopathy has corrupt companies does not alter the fact that Randi Foundation and you are still the same wolves in sheep’s clothing.
What of the hundreds of other Boiron pills that are equally ineffective…? Are they exempt from similar examination?
