“Nature Made” Vitamin E Supplement Class Action Lawsuit
By Kimberly Mirando
According to the Nature Made Vitamin E class action lawsuit, “clinical cause and effect studies have shown that the sole ‘active’ ingredient in the Products, Vitamin E, does not work as represented by [Pharmavite], and in particular Vitamin E supplementation does not improve cardiovascular function or otherwise benefit the heart.”
The class action lawsuit goes on to claim that Pharmavite does not have any “competent and reliable scientific evidence” to support its advertising claims that Nature Made Vitamin E supplements support a healthy heart, and its representations are “false, misleading, and reasonably likely to deceive the public.”
The Pharmavite class action lawsuit is brought on behalf of all consumers who purchased Nature Made Vitamin E dietary supplements within the applicable statute of limitations period. It is seeking class certification, damages and restitution for Class Members, as well as a Court Order requiring Pharmavite to engage in a corrective advertising campaign.
