Dell Home & Home Office Discount Class Action Settlement

A class action lawsuit settlement has been reached between Dell and California consumers and businesses who purchased Dell-branded products advertised on Dell’s Home & Home Office website with instant-off discounts. Class Members who submit a timely claim form can receive a cash payment of $50 from the Dell discount class action settlement.

The Dell settlement will resolve a class action lawsuit, entitled Brazil v. Dell, Inc., that alleges Dell advertised false instant-off discounts from represented former prices. These products include Dimension, Precision and Inspiron desktop and notebook computers. Dell denies any wrongdoing but has agreed to settle the case to avoid ongoing litigation.

Under the Dell discount class action lawsuit settlement, Class Members can receive a $50 cash benefit if they submit a valid claim form postmarked by October 28, 2011. Class Members of the Dell settlement include all individuals and entities in California who purchased a Dell-branded product identified in the Class Action Settlement Notice and advertised with an instant-off discount online from Dell’s Home & Home Office website during the time frame listed for the product.
