Details: The Seagate Hard Disk Drive Class Action Lawsuit Settlement alleges that Seagate overstated the size of their hard drives by 7%. The claim process is relatively simple. It could be worth it to submit the paper claim for to make a cash claim, especially if you purchased your Seagate Hard Drive in earlier in the decade (when that could be $14 – $28) and purchased multiple hard drives during the six and a half year period. All you have to do is head over to the Settlement Administrator Website and click on “Mail-in Claim Form.” Print it out and fill it out completely. You’ll need to include the date of purchase, price paid, store you purchased the drive from AND the model and serial numbers of each drive OR a receipt, charge card statement or other proof of purchase. You do NOT need to include both the serial number of the Seagate hard drive and proof of purchase. Remember, a separate claim form is required for each hard drive your submitting a claim form.
