TCA Staff Tidbit: ATM KeypadThis class action lawsuit settlement is WELL WORTH THE TIME of EVERY CLASS MEMBER! If you think you used the Travelex ATM near Door 5 at Southwest Florida International airport head over and submit your claim! These settlements which pay out MANY times more than the fee itself paid don’t happen often so don’t wait. SUBMIT YOUR CLAIM NOW! Yes, it’s a small fund, but with the low number of claimants expected the payout could be hundreds of dollars per person.

Travelex LogoIn this case Travelex got sued because they didn’t list the fee of $2.00 charged for using the ATM on the ATM itself. That’s a violation of the Electronic Funds Transfer act and now Travelex has to pay up! We’re surprised that the cap in the payment per claimant is $1,000 (and not $2 – $25) but that’s GREAT FOR YOU! If you used this ATM, don’t miss out on this class action lawsuit settlement. It’s a big one and I’m sure will help give you a much needed infusion of cash.  As someone who worked in an airport briefly I’ll bet that a majority of the claimants will be employees based there. They’re probably 20% or more of the business that ATM received  so I hope they know about it. Airline employees are notoriously underpaid for the grief they have to put up with, so they could definitely use the cash this settlement will pay out. Now, go forth and submit your claim!

I may or maynot have been a user of this ATM during the times mentioned. I have traveled much in and out of Fort Myers for my employers.
    Sincerely,
