I Totally agree with the comments of #1,2,&3 what a load of crap. $3.00, 3 bucks. When we depended on CarFax report not only, when buying a new car but, when selling your car & especially when CarFax is buying the car/vehicle, the same system is used….this company got a lot of nerve to deny any wrongdoing…..They bought my ex’s car for much less then, Kelly Bluebook listed it. Talking about….depreciation and how the Kelly Bluebook do not accommodate for “Recalled Manufactured Parts”. $3 is an insult to injury by their Vehicle Reports.

I couldn’t agree more with the above comment. I too bought a vehicle based on what the car fax report claimed. When the car arrived I discovered it had been wrecked previously. The front bumper was the wrong color, and half the car was painted. great job CARFAX what a bunch of crooks. they say at the bottom of their website the info may not be accurate, so what are we paying for???? crooks ya i know “why did you buy the report” ha ha just wait till it happens to you.

  3. Jennifer McWethy says:

This is true hypocracy. What about buyers who relied on these reports to buy a car? The report was part of the salespersons services. MANY issues were not reported on Carax and my car was at the shop for 6 months – that’s right – 6 months. Carfax also did not disclose the car had been in a couple of accidents.
DO NOT TRUST CARFAX – they help salespeople and give consumers a false sense of security.

wow $3 cash. subtract wasted time, cost of ink, cost of envelope, cost of stamp… lol what a joke.
