TCA Staff Tidbit: This is a pretty interesting lawsuit. If you are eligible to participate I would highly recommend submitting your claim. Reading through the settlement I found that you have two years to use your coupon AND it can stack with any online coupons or rebates, meaning you could get a pretty slamming deal if you found a system for $1,200, stacked a 20% off coupon on it and then use your $175 off coupon for example getting you a nice computer for $785. If you’re on the other end of the purchase spectrum, you find a machine for $500, stack 20% off, then use your coupon for $50 off and you end up with a system for $350. Not bad at all. Make sure to register @ HP.com for the latest deals so you receive those coupons in the mail. Since you have two years you have plenty of time to wait for a great deal to come along. I’ve seen coupons go as high as 40% off, so stay vigilant and you’ll end up doing quite well in the end.

Purchased HP laptops through 2009, registered all computers, yet NEVER received ANY notification about the lawsuit … oddly convenient, for HP and NOT convenient for me. Thanks HP. Never will I purchase another HP product.
