Update from the President of TCA

Good morning everyone! I hope you had a great week! We’ve been busy working on some new investigations and settlements launching within the next few weeks. I’ve been doing this for about seven years and even I still get surprised by some of the corporate shenanigans companies put their customers through. The important thing for YOU is that we’ll keep reporting on the latest lawsuits and settlements that impact you. I’ve got meetings set up on Tuesday to discuss a brand new project (and possibly new business) with a few attorneys I’ve worked with over the past few years. That’s something I find really interesting about running a business. People track you down to discuss new business ideas and try to figure out ways to work with you. I hear more business ideas than I could EVER work. Now it’s easier than ever to start a new online business, but getting the audience is the tricky part. I’ve launched three other web properties over the past seven years and not one of them has taken off. Only Top Class Actions is truly successful. Thousands upon thousands of dollars lost on the failed web properties, but you have to take the shot, right? That’s something I’ll keep doing. I’ll keep trying. If I like a business idea I’ll try it. Maybe it will work, maybe it won’t, but either way I can say I tried and I ALWAYS learn new things, even when I fail. That’s something my wife and I try to instill in our daughters. It’s OK to fail. The important thing is you keep trying (and adjust your strategy so you don’t keep making the same mistakes).

On the family front we are enjoying another awesome winter in Phoenix. Plenty of time on the bikes and at the parks around Phoenix. The girls got to ride a train, feed the ducks AND go on a carousel, all at the same park, and only 15 minutes from our home. It’s amazing what they have at public parks now! It’s easy (and fun) to spend hours playing on the playground, riding bikes around small lakes, riding trains and carousels, and just enjoying being outside! We have to do it as much as possible now, because in five or six months, it’ll be too hot to play.

OK, on to the latest lawsuit and settlement updates!
