Update from the President of TCA

Good morning everyone! I hope you had a GREAT week! We were really busy around the office as we once again switched system email providers (avoid SparkPost at all costs my friends) wrapped up a conference in Vegas, researched some new backend server software as well as researched, wrote and edited more than 100 articles. That’s how we do it around here! I have a great team who keeps us moving even with the multitude of projects.

One of the great things about Top Class Actions is the submissions we receive from our viewers. Attorneys reach out to multiple viewers every day but some submissions require extra attention. We had one from a former convict who wanted to file a class action because of a prison program which was supposed to grant early release based on work productivity. Unfortunately for the prisoners, you could fulfill the program and not see a day shaved off your sentence… Seeing as you have unsympathetic potential plaintiffs (convicts) and would have a tough time figuring out financial damages because the convicts lost out on time and not $X, the two firms who dug into it decided against pursuing the case. Even though the case wasn’t picked up by a law firm it was still a very interesting process to watch take place. I learn something new every time!
